| Having done "start-ups" in Silicon Valley, I have now joined the first Windermere office on the Big Island of Hawaii and am enjoying building a team of real estate professisonals who are priviledged to live and work in a tropical paradise. I chose to work with Windermere because of their dedication to "raising the bar" in the real estate industry. | Real Life Experiences Shape the Person |
| I jokingly call Real Estate my last career, as there have been many in the past 30 years. Educational Publishing, Systems Analysis, Market Development, Sales Training, Human Resources, Small Business Owner, and Real Estate Sales. Plus, let's not forget parenting (and now grand-parenting). Each of those roles and each of the lessons learned with those roles is now a part of the skill set available to my clients. Chances are we can figure out a solution to any problem together. Especially one that involves real estate in the Kona area. |
| Seeing Different Places Puts it all into Perspective |
| I was born in Nebraska but raised in Minneapolis and moved with my young family to the East Coast. Another move back to the Chicago area was followed by one to London and yet another back to New Jersey. Soon we felt the draw of the West Coast and moved to the Seattle area. That was my first exposure to the Windermere presence in a local housing market. From there we were off again to California for 15 busy years where personal computers and software were the major factors in my professional life. In 1995 my husband and I "retired" to the Big Island of Hawaii. Within a year I had my real estate license and it's been a great adventure ever since. |
